Windows 98 Unleashed is a softcover book that offers 1,090 pages for US $34.99 (CDN $49.95). The two books are basically the same, except the Professional Reference Edition offers the following extras: More theoretical discussions related to Windows 98's underpinnings. Three extra chapters devoted to networking and Personal Web Server (see the Table of Contents). 11 appendices that cover advanced topics on Setup, Internet security, the new Windows Scripting Host, and more (again, see the Table of Contents). Two CD-ROMs that offer four extra chapters, Microsoft TechNet, the Windows 98 Knowledge Base, shareware, and more.
