Gamelan This is "The Official Directory for Java" and remains one of the premier Java sites on the Web:

JARS.COM This site bills itself as "The #1 Java Review Service," and I have no reason to doubt it. You'll find thoughtful reviews of hundreds of applets in dozens of categories:

The Java Boutique A first-rate site with lots of applets, programming tutorials, Java news, articles, forums, and more:

Netscape's Java Developer Central If you think you want to learn Java, this comprehensive site is a great place to start:

ScriptSearch As I'm sure you've come to expect, this site has the Java good, as well, with hundreds and hundreds of applets to play with:

Sun Microsystems I mentioned earlier that Sun invented Java, so their site's a must-visit for news, documentation, discussions, and lots and lots of high-quality applets:
